RG Hardie Twist-Trap Standard Poly Practice Chanter

Twist-Trap Practice Chanters are unique to R.G. Hardie & Co. and produced at their Glasgow bagpipe manufacturing unit.  It is there standard length practice chanter (18.5") with countersunk holes and the Twist-trap top.

The Twist-Trap top prevents moisture collecting on the reed and potentially cutting out, allowing for longer practice sessions. The top splits at the top of the ferrule to gain access to the water trap and remove excess moisture. We recommend it is dried out after every practice session.
